WEB Systems™ have been designed and engineered over a number of years by WEB RSL to allow for an alternative method for access, whether that be on bridges jetties or offshore installations.

The health & safety benefits of the WEB systems are vast.

The main benefits include:

  • The speed of installation in comparison to other temporary work platforms, such as scaffold;
  • Provides a safer, more efficient and more comfortable working environment than rope access techniques;
  • 70-90% reduction in weight compared to conventional steel and aluminium frame temporary work platforms;
  • Due to increased speed of installation and less weight, the exposure time for workers to at risk activities is reduced, therefore increasing safety.

Once in place the WEB Systems™ allow for work at height personnel, or when the system is fully contained, you are no longer working at height. This provides suitable access to personnel who are not trained, to access the work site safely.

According to the Health and Safety Executive (HSE), working at height remains the number one workplace killer. Using WEB Systems™ means minimizing the time exposed to height therefore reducing the risks associated with working at height.
